SHARE is a volunteer-run organization offering therapeutic riding and therapeutic horsemanship. Both therapeutic riding and therapeutic horsemanship offer the same benefits as hippotherapy but without the cost, as hippotherapy requires an Occupational Therapist or a Physical Therapist in order to operate, thus making costs much higher. SHARE offers riding for adults and children with disabilities, military service veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and all family members. Our family-oriented approach is one of the things that makes us special.
We are always looking for volunteers with a passion for horses and helping others. If you think this sounds like you, feel free to reach out to us. We always enjoy talking about why we love what we do.
To improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs by providing year-round recreational activities* for them and their families.
*Currently only horseback riding and swimming at this time.
